Life is supposed to feel good and it’s supposed to flow.

Society and media and our families and advertising and whatever else have all ingrained in us that life is hard and a struggle, that nothing comes easy. It’s the mantra of the working class, right? “Hard-earned” thinking: “You have to work hard for what you get” etc. etc.

But is that really true? Or it is just a decision that was made for us and that we have adopted and embodied?

Flow is evidenced all around us in nature - and nature has been around a lot longer than us humans!

Grass doesn’t strain to grow.
Flowers don’t strain to bloom.

Flow is evidenced in baby humans and baby animals, whose natural instincts are to be happy and to be playful.

”But I have obligations and responsibilities,” you may tell me.

This may be so - but might there be a way you could change your approach to these obligations and responsibilities to bring more ease to them?

Theres is always another way.

We can choose to come home to ourselves - to the truth of who we are.

What is the truth of who we are?

Coming home to this truth - that you are love - means:

❤︎ becoming present and connecting with yourself and with life in a new way ❤︎
❤︎ developing your connection with your deep intuition and guidance ❤︎
❤︎ releasing old hurts and fears and beliefs ❤︎
❤︎ learning how to accept yourself exactly as you are and really loving yourself as you are ❤︎

… and then creating your life from this place.

❤︎ It means stepping out of the dramas and distractions of life. ❤︎
❤︎ It means pulling back from the busy-ness of your mind and even your feelings and habits. ❤︎
❤︎ It means stepping off the hamster wheel and tuning in to the deeper truth of who you are ❤︎

and then living from there, taking action from there.

Believe me…

This is where your true power is.
This is where peace is.
This is where happiness is.

From this place - lots can happen!

Underneath it all, the busy-ness, the dramas, the struggles… this is our intrinsic nature:


We are love. We are love. We are love.

A light, happy approach to life is possible - even when it doesn’t go as you want!

It’s not even about changing the circumstances or situations of your life - that is your choice.
All it takes is to change your approach to how you live life.

You see, we think the situations of our lives are the problem. We think it’s the situations we are in that cause us pain or frustration or irritation or whatever else. But that’s not true.

It’s our approach to the circumstances of our lives that causes us distress.
It’s the stories we tell ourselves about the situations in our lives that cause us distress.

When you learn how to be present and be really honest with yourself, you are able to say “Ok. I’m here”.
You can be present with being wherever you are.
Then you can say “What’s next?” or “Where to from here?” and make a positive choice for any change you want - and this can be calm and conscious and done with ease.

Something else:

We creative people understand flow.

We experience creative flow. We know what it’s like to be “in the zone” and for life to work through us… Yes, “work” is involved, but the work is work that feels good. It’s enriching and enlivening.

We sensitive people understand truth.

Although we are often “made wrong” in everyday life for being how we are - we’re told that we’re too emotional, we feel too much, we need to just “get on with it” or whatever - but we know the truth. We know that there is truth in the feelings we have. There is truth in the things we can sense that others cannot or will not articulate.

We creatives and sensitives often naturally pull away from societal pressures, situations and norms because our inner guidance is strong.

Our guidance tell us things that are different to what society tells us… that our true wisdom is found within and that we can trust ourselves to play and create.

You already know all this, though, right?
You can feel this.

How lucky are we to be open to the full scope of life?!

(… and if the full scope of life can feel too much for you, don’t worry. All that’s needed is to create some healthy boundaries!)

One more thing…

What you love to do is important for the world.

It’s important for multiple reasons, but I’ll tell you my three favourites:

  1. Life is expressing through us. The same way life is expressing through a tree or the ocean waves. You are here in the Universe and it’s right that life flows abundantly and expresses beautifully through you - just like it does through nature or through any other person.

  2. What you love to do is a contribution to the world - for yourself, for those you connect with and impact and for the ripple effect that continues beyond.

  3. The world - desperately - needs more people who are living from a place of truth and love and generosity, more people who are examples of alignment and light.

A little bit about my own path…

Traditionally, at this stage in pages like this, and by current “marketing norms”, I am supposed to tell my own “
dark night of the soul” type stories.

This is supposed to be to enable you to feel connected with me - there’s a whole psychology behind it.

Here’s what I want to say about all that… and what I want to share instead…

I have definitely had traumatic experiences in my life that I could share into if I wanted to. However, my priority around those experiences in the past was to take time and space for myself to heal, and that also including creating lots of music that really helped me process those feelings.

My priority around them now is to let them be.

So although I have dramatic stories I could share, I feel no need to…


Firstly, because when you take the time to truly heal hurts, there doesn’t feel like there’s any point in going back to unearth them. Feeling free from them leaves me more interested in creating and enjoying life from the space I’m in now and moving forward.

Secondly, there are plenty of people who feel called to do this - to share their “dark nights” so for people who need this to feel connection, that is there for them in life, and that’s perfect. There’s a perfect match for every need.

But hat’s not how I want to connect with you… through old stories and emotions. I want to connect with you from a place of commitment to being present and open and choosing to live from a space of ease and joy and love.

Does that sometimes mean feeling hurts? Of course! We’re people, having real life experiences. I completely believe in feeling and healing.

What I feel drawn to and committed to, however, is flow in life, is being present to all feelings with an open heart and curiosity, releasing the need for judgment, and instead choosing openness… choosing to be open to possibility in a moment and being open to see things differently - and that’s the space I want to connect with you from!

Of course, we’re human beings. Spiritual beings in a human body. We came down here to “dance and get a bit muddy” as my friend Larissa says! It’s not about being some arbitrary idea of “perfect”, it’s about being present and showing up the best we can moment-to-moment.

From that place, we can be present - present to hurts or happiness (whatever we judge our emotions and feelings to be), being open to possibility and being crazily in love with the person we are (because we are all children of the Universe, or if you prefer, children of God).

Definitely in my life, as someone sensitive and creative, I have often felt on the “outside”…

I tried to fit in, I tried to control other people’s perceptions of me, I didn’t feel good enough (no matter what I did or achieved), I tried to “toughen up”, I tried to follow paths to success other people had laid out, I ignored my intuition (when it was screaming at me to listen), I made choices that were far out of integrity, I allowed myself be treated badly etc. etc.

My life is not like that anymore, though…

Through a simple and completely committed practice of meditation and mindfulness,

introspection and self-awareness,

mind mastery and

focusing on things that bring

feelings of joy and love to me,

I have come to have a new experience of life.

I have come to love and accept who I am (unconditionally!)
I am proud of the person I am.
I have a gorgeous sense of peace.
I feel happy every single day (regardless of how life is on the outside) because now, happiness is a choice I make.

I’ve been doing deep, introspective work for years - for myself and by coaching other people too. I love this work and do it as a daily practice - and it’s fun!

When you learn how to live life in an open and curious way, you are freed from memorised emotional states and default reactions. You are freed from beating yourself up, from blaming others or yourself, from stress and drama… all of that stuff!

Now, when you choose to expand and grow, of course you will bump up against some fears and insecurities. There is definitely inner work to better identify your feelings, understand them and process them differently in your life.

What ordinarily happens in life is that we get caught up on situations or feelings because we blindly believe our thoughts to be true, we attach to the resulting feelings and we make all of this our identity, rather than taking a different approach - seeing our thoughts and feelings as the blessings of wisdom they are, understanding them and choosing what and how we want to think and feel to SUPPORT us, not work against us.

You see, your emotions and thoughts need not hold you back - not at all! - even if you have felt stuck in patterns for years.

Your thoughts and habits and emotions are simply giving you guidance and insight - about what your habits (of thought, word and deed) are, about the mechanics of your thinking and the motivations behind your feelings.

Your thoughts and habits and emotions are giving you guidance about what is ready to be changed and healed and released.

Your thoughts and feelings and emotions are beautiful, sacred guidance for you - if you allow them be!

This can feel a little strange or uncomfortable at first - but when you commit to it, you start to get the hang of it. Then you start to not only feel better, but to experience situations differently, you avoid self-sabotage, you feel more clear and confident and you become free.

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a process by which you can get clear about where you are, where you are going and make a plan to create change in your life.

A life coach will work with you to help you to identify and understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and can help empower you to create the change you are seeking in your life.

Nothing in your life will change unless you do, so life coaching does involve your commitment, your honesty and you doing the work to create the change in your life.

What is life coaching NOT?

Life coaching is not a substitute for traditional therapy. Life coaching is not suitable for working through mental health issues or deep traumatic events.

Who is life coaching for?

Life coaching is for people who are ready for change, ready to be honest with themselves, ready to put in the work to create new habits and outcomes.

Life coaching is for people who are committed to becoming the healthiest, happiest version of themselves, who are happy to challenge themselves as necessary and to be absolutely true to themselves in their lives.

What does life coaching with Aoife involve?

Life coaching with Aoife involves a minimum 3 month commitment (because change takes time) with options for a 6 month, 9 month or 12 month term.

You will meet with Aoife online every two weeks for an hour long session. You will have email access to Aoife throughout your coaching contract during business hours, which can be adapted depending on client location.

What can I expect from working with Aoife as my life coach?

Among other things, you can expect, and will receive the following:

Support. Aoife will be encouraging - supporting you and helping to empower you in creating the change you want in your life using multiple techniques and approaches.

Total honesty with respect and care. Aoife will be completely honest with you, but at all times in a way that is both respectful, supportive and caring.

Complete confidentiality. All your conversations and everything you share is 100% private and confidential.

How can I tell if we are a good fit?
