Life is supposed to feel good and it’s supposed to flow.

That is evidenced all around us in nature - and nature has been around a lot longer than us humans!

Grass doesn’t strain to grow.
Flowers don’t strain to bloom.

It’s evidenced in baby humans and baby animals, whose natural instincts are to be happy and to be playful.

Yet, our Western societies have ingrained in us that life is hard and a struggle, that nothing comes easy. It’s the mantra of the working class, right? “Hard-earned” thinking: “You have to work hard for what you get” etc. etc.

But is that really true?

Or does it just serve old, outdated societal models to have populations of people buying in to this because it supports existing systems and corporations?

And is there any other way?

Well, of course there is!
There is always another way.

We can choose to come home to ourselves.

What does that even mean?

Well, it means stepping out of the dramas and distractions of life.
It means pulling back from the busy-ness of your mind and even your feelings and habits.
It means stepping off the hamster wheel and tuning in to the deeper truth of who you are.

What is the truth of who you are?

You are love.

Coming home to the truth of who you are - that you are love - means:

❤︎ becoming present and connecting with life in a new way ❤︎
❤︎ developing your connection with your deep intuition and guidance ❤︎
❤︎ releasing old hurts and fears and beliefs ❤︎
❤︎ learning to accept yourself as you are and really loving yourself as you are ❤︎

… and then creating your life from this place.

Believe me…

This is where your true power is.
This is where peace is.
This is where happiness is.

From this place - lots can happen!

Underneath it all, the busy-ness, the dramas, the struggles… this is our intrinsic nature:


We are love.
We are love.
We are love.

From this understanding and visceral embodied knowing, a new life is possible.

Something else:

We creative people understand flow.

We experience creative flow. We know what it’s like to be “in the zone” and for life to work through us… Yes, work is involved, but the work is work that feels good. It’s enriching and enlivening.

We sensitive people understand truth.

Although we are “made wrong” in everyday life for being how we are - we’re told that we’re too emotional, we feel too much, we need to just “get on with it” or whatever - we know the truth. We know that there is truth in the feelings we have. There is truth in the things we can sense that others cannot or will not articulate.

We creatives and sensitives are the people who naturally pull away from societal pressures and norms because our inner guidance is strong and it tells us things that are different to what society tells us… it tells us that our true wisdom is found within.

You already know all these things, right? You can feel them.

Well, let me tell you one more thing…

What you love to do is important for the world.

It’s important for multiple reasons, but I’ll tell you my three favourites:

  1. Life is expressing through us. The same way life is expressing through a tree or the ocean waves. You are here in the Universe and it’s right that life flows abundantly and expresses beautifully through you - just like it does through nature or through any other person.

  2. What you love to do is a contribution to the world - for yourself, for those you connect with and impact and for the ripple effect that continues beyond.

  3. The world - desperately - needs more people who are living from a place of truth and love and generosity, more people who are examples of alignment and light.

    A little bit about my own path…

    So often in my life, as someone sensitive and creative, I felt on the “outside”…

    I tried to fit in, I tried to control other people’s perceptions of me, I didn’t feel good enough (no matter what I did or achieved), I tried to “toughen up”, I tried to follow paths to success other successful people had laid out, I ignored my intuition when it was screaming at me to listen etc. etc. etc.

    It has only been through a committed practice of meditation and mindfulness, introspection and self-awareness, mind mastery and focusing on things that bring joy and love to my life, that I have come to have a new experience of life.

    I have come to love and accept who I am and I am proud of the person I am. I have a gorgeous sense of peace. I feel happy almost every single day (regardless of how life may or may not be on the outside).

    I’ve been doing this deep, introspective work for years and more recently, I have been doing this work with other people too - first as a writing coach and now outside that too.

    As a writing coach, I have found that it’s pretty impossible for people to write a book or share about themselves and not bump up against their fears and insecurities.

    That’s a good thing, because in order to expand and grow, you need to do some inner work to better identify your feelings, understand them and process them differently in your life. That leaves you free to not only feel better, but to experience situations differently, to avoid self-sabotage and to feel more clear and confident and free to create and live in a truer way.

    You see, our human emotions and thoughts need not hold us back. Not at all. Even if we have felt stuck in patterns for years. Our thoughts and habits and emotions are simply giving us guidance and insight - about what our habits (of thought, word and deed) are, about the mechanics of our thinking and motivations behind our feelings, about what is ready to be changed and healed and released.

    Our thoughts and feelings are beautiful, sacred guidance.

    What happens is that we get caught up on these things because we blindly believe our thoughts to be true, we attach to the resulting feelings and make all of this our identity, rather than taking a different approach - seeing our thoughts and feelings as the blessings of wisdom they are, understanding them and choosing what and how we want to think and feel to SUPPORT us, not work against us..

So this has been my work of late… guiding people to a deeper connection with themselves, helping them to understand the patterns in their thinking and behaviour so that they can free themselves to make different choices and feel confident and free and happy and unapologetic and bold and at peace.

You really are worth this.

This is your life.
Here and now.

What you want matters.
What you want to change matters.
What you want to create matters.
Your life matters.

What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a process by which you can get clear about where you are, where you are going and make a plan to create change in your life.

Your coach will work with you to help you to identify and understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and can help empower you to create the change you are seeking in your life.

Nothing in your life will change unless you do, so life coaching does involve your commitment, your honesty and you doing the work to create the change in your life.

What is life coaching NOT?
Life coaching is not a substitute for traditional therapy. Life coaching is not suitable for working through mental health issues or deep traumatic events.

Who is life coaching for?
Life coaching is for people who are ready for change, ready to be honest with themselves, ready to put in the work to create new habits and outcomes.

Life coaching is for people who are committed to becoming the healthiest, happiest version of themselves, who are happy to challenge themselves as necessary and to be absolutely true to themselves in their lives.

What does life coaching with Aoife involve? 
Life coaching with Aoife involves a minimum 3 month commitment (because change takes time).

You meet with Aoife online every two weeks for an hour long session. You will have email access to Aoife throughout your coaching contract during business hours, which can be adapted depending on client location.

What can I expect from working with Aoife as my life coach?
Among other things, you can expect, and will receive the following:

Support. Aoife will be encouraging - supporting you and helping to empower you in creating the change you want in your life using multiple techniques and approaches.

Total honesty with respect and care. Aoife will be completely honest with you, but at all times in a way that is both respectful, supportive and caring.

Complete confidentiality. All your conversations and everything you share is 100% private and confidential.

How can I tell if we are a good fit?
The best way to find out if you are a good fit is to connect with Aoife and have a conversation.
